This week has been gorgeous! An improvement from the snowstorm we had 2 weeks ago (that dropped half a foot of snow) and granted us a snow day. It was in the 50's pretty much all week, we even saw 60s by the end of the week. Most of the snow is gone. The lakes are still frozen, of course, but the twin lakes as you are driving into st johns are opening up. The birds are chirping and new life is springing forth from the ground. It is great! I thought winter would never end...
On Friday to commemorate our beautiful weather, we persuaded my theology prof to have class outside. So we went down by the frozen lake and talked about Baptism (Thomas and I are becoming friends again). Very ironic. It was a great class, a little chilly by the end, but great to soak up some sun. And it was great to have lively conversations about different aspects of Baptism (which was very interesting).
