So the weather has been SOO beautiful the past couple of days (and by that I mean like upper 30s-40s - which is like 50 degrees warmer than it was last week). But with the nice weather comes melting. There are puddles EVERYWHERE and falling ice from the roofs = not so good. Well at night these puddles freeze and form nice slick layers of ice... And as I was carrying cupcakes outside to another dorm, I slipped on a patch of ice and down I went and half the cupcakes went everywhere... my bottom was wet, and my jacket got frosting on it... nicht so gut :(.
Lesson learned... dont go outside after it is frozen unless unavoidable because then you risk falling on the ice. I didn't hurt myself, this time, but next time might not be so lucky.
